0.5.0: Find manga across languages and sites

  • New dedicated manga search page, with search also available from the library, reader and webpage. Sign in to look up existing manga names in other languages, or enter a keyword manually.
  • Search multiple sites in parallel, with results appearing progressively and interleaved by source. Check each site’s status, retry failures, load more results and import a title to read.
  • Search language and site choices are remembered. Changing site selections keeps the current results. Search screens now share a consistent design and show site language labels.
  • Fixed DM5 search encoding for keywords containing spaces. Switching translation channels now refreshes only loaded chapters, reducing unnecessary reader updates.
  • Chrome, Edge and Firefox 0.5.0 downloads are available. Firefox uses the AMO-signed XPI; store versions depend on review completion.

0.4.0: More manga sources, smoother reading

  • Added MangaDex and Guazi Manga sources with a unified website-link import flow. Improved MangaCopy catalog loading and recovery from DM5 import failures.
  • Choose a reading language for each MangaDex chapter, with language indicators in the directory to make chapters easier to find and switch between.
  • Refined the reader directory and common actions, added more accent colors, and improved interface and translation language selectors.
  • Fixed Firefox compatibility with image request-header rules for more reliable image loading from supported sites.
  • Chrome and Edge 0.4.0 downloads are available. The Firefox download remains the AMO-signed 0.3.0; store versions depend on review completion.

0.3.0: Connect your own translation service

  • New translation channel settings let you choose NodeLane or your own manga-translator-ui service. Save multiple service configurations and use your own service without a NodeLane account.
  • The reader and in-page translation share your selected channel, translating the current image and the next three. Switching channels preserves reading position and keeps translated images separate.
  • Long in-page translations can keep waiting for results while the extension background process sleeps. Interrupted connections offer manual retry without automatically submitting the image again.
  • Improved translated-image caching and export, with clear guidance when clearing the cache means a result from your own service needs to be translated again.
  • Separate Chrome and Edge 0.3.0 downloads are available. Choose the package for your browser to update.

A clearer start to reading

  • Image discovery starts on your click, preserving selection and order when refreshing the same page.
  • Account renewal includes clear recovery messages for connectivity and authorization problems.
  • The website adds guides, product information and a shared account entry.

Reading first, one translated page at a time

  • Automatic translation covers the current image and the next two while preserving reading position.
  • Rolling-minute admission counts new translation images; duplicates and completed-result reuse do not count twice.
  • Per-page results and original task verification support recovery after disconnection.

A clearer home for long stories

  • Separate chapter navigation and page thumbnails.
  • Find existing translations by mode and language.
  • Local reading of images, comic archives, PDF and supported DRM-free MOBI.
