A browser extension with a comic reader, web-image discovery and local import. Translation has classic and AI redraw modes, with originals always available. Reading happens in the extension; this website provides downloads, guides and account management.

Yes, on desktop Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Chrome and Firefox have store installation links. The Edge store listing is under review; get the Edge ZIP package from the download page in the meantime.

Use the official Chrome or Firefox store links on the download page. For manual Chrome or Edge installation, download and extract the matching ZIP, enable Developer mode in the extensions manager and select Load unpacked. Firefox uses its store listing or the signed XPI. See the download page for instructions.

Reading local originals is free and needs no account. Official translation requires sign-in; Free includes 30 classic translation pages per day. PLUS removes the daily and monthly classic page cap, with rate and capacity limits still applying. AI redraw requires a valid allowance. Check current plans for prices, pages, trials and monthly or annual billing.

Classic translation detects text, translates it and places it back with local background repair. AI redraw uses an image model and can change artwork details. Choose classic for everyday reading, compare results with the original, and try redraw when appropriate. Results from the two modes are kept separately.

CBZ/ZIP, CBR/RAR, PDF and supported DRM-free MOBI6/MOBI6+KF8 comics. Standalone KF8/AZW3, EPUB and encrypted books are not supported. Loose images cannot be imported. Website imports require a dedicated adapter.

Source website cookies, login tokens and browsing history are not uploaded to the translation backend. Website and image permissions are requested when needed. Official translation sends selected images and required task data for processing; see the privacy guide for details.

Translation requires uploading selected page images to the backend and relevant providers. Originals and final images are retained privately by default. Deleting your record revokes access but does not guarantee physical deletion of shared objects. Source cookies, login tokens and browsing history are not uploaded.

Pages may be reserved first and settled on successful delivery. Explicit failures release the reservation, as do classic results confirmed to have no text or partial recognition with original text retained. Unknown redraw results are verified first and may keep pages reserved temporarily.

PLUS classic has no daily/monthly total page cap. Image, capacity and short-term rate limits still apply: up to 100 new translation images per rolling 60 seconds across a PLUS account, or 10 for Free. This is not a completion-speed guarantee.

Use the website or extension account entry to manage the subscription. Cancel before the next renewal or trial expiry; uninstalling does not cancel. Existing benefits follow the expiry displayed in your account. For billing help, email [email protected].

Availability depends on site structure, permissions, image access and adapters. Language support can differ by translation mode; use the list in the extension. We do not guarantee every site, language or file.

Yes. Connect your own manga-translator-ui service by adding and selecting a local translation channel in extension settings. This does not require a NodeLane account or official translation allowances. You must run the service yourself; network requirements, available modes and image handling depend on that service.
