Identify the stage
An image that could not be fetched, a submitted task that is still processing and an explicitly failed translation are different states. Read the page message first. One problem page does not block the others.
For retrieval issues, confirm the image opens normally on the source site and check site/CDN permissions. Lazy loading, navigation or source restrictions may affect access.
Resolve the original task first
Tasks persist on the backend. Closing the page or briefly losing connectivity does not mean the task disappeared. Let the extension resolve its original status after reconnecting.
An image provider may have accepted a redraw while the result is unknown. Verification comes first; the page allowance can remain reserved temporarily. Repeatedly generating new versions is not a safe way to check completion.
Check access and report clearly
Sign in again if authorization expired, verify the mode’s language list, and check the current allowance or promotional expiry. Explicit failure releases the related reservation.
Report your browser, extension version, steps, error message and a task ID if available. Use necessary, redacted screenshots only. Never send source cookies, tokens or signed image URLs. Contact [email protected].
